Oblivion: Behind the Scenes Look

I'm beginning to think this is a good bet to be a memorable experience.  Check out the film on Wikipedia (Spoiler Alert) where the entire storyline is divulged and/or check out the 21-minute behind the scenes video I tweeted below:

Oblivion: a pre-critique

There are a lot of bad reviews of this film, so why am I going to fork over $16 for an IMAX ticket? Well, I was a fan of Star Wars when I first saw the cryptic, curt title on a billboard in December of 1976. When I saw it, I was blown away. Seems trite to say that now, but the critics dismissed it as childish and on the level of a comic book. At that time, referring to comic books was a common way to dismiss an oeuvre. 10 years before Star Wars was released, Bonnie and Clyde was dismissed as too violent. In 1984 The Terminator was not reviewed by few reviewers, and dismissed by all of them. The Road Warrior was also too violent to be worthy. All of those are now classics. So, let's give reviews their due, which is to say, read them, but don't follow them. The visualization of Oblivion is, however, praised by all: hence, the premium I'm willing to pay for IMAX. More on this after Friday's debut.
